Our Team


Our Educators are dedicated Early Childhood Education and Care professionals offering family day care service from their individual homes.

‘My Place’ carefully selects and trains the Educators who represent our Service. All our Educators have formal qualifications in child care, training in First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma, Working with Children Check and undertake regular refresher training.

We have over one hundred passionate Educators in various areas, including Brisbane, Laidley and Ipswich regions.


Our ‘My Place’ Coordinators are highly supportive child care professionals working with Educators to provide safe, educational and flexible care for every child. Our goal is to achieve the “perfect fit” between our children and Educators via regular communication and visits, weekly play sessions and professional development training.

Finance & Administration Team

Our specialised finance and administration team provides effective day-to-day financial and administrative management for our Educators and families. This includes processing timesheets with Centrelink, updating data and paperwork and answering queries in general.

Media & Marketing Team

Our in-house media and marketing team is fully committed to promote every Educator’s business as well as our entire Service within the local community.

Circle of Services

Finally, unlike other child care services, ‘My Place’ is uniquely supported by our approved provider Inala Community House and its other community-based services.  As a result, we are able to provide our children and families with a more wholesome, integrated and diverse experience via collaborative community events and activities, support and referrals etc.
